Gundy on Jalen McCleskey: “We’re going to have to tone him down a little bit. He may be a little too aggressive on receiving the punts, but that’s OK. As he matures, I think he’ll be a real threat for us.” (Tulsa World)

Zach Crabtree on Chris Carson: “Every drive he comes off, he comes over to us and he shakes our hands and talks to us. That’s something as a lineman you really appreciate a guy like that.” (O’Colly)

Jeff Naple passes

Mike Gundy on the passing of video coordinator Jeff Naple: “He had been battling cancer since he was diagnosed in July, but it wasn’t until about a week ago that I saw him shed a tear. It wasn’t because he was afraid of what was to come. It was because he wasn’t going to be able to serve Oklahoma State anymore. That’s how loyal he was.” (Tulsa World)

Here’s more on Naple (who had a 16-year-old 🙁 ) (okstate)

And Robert Allen has a great post on what Naple was like. (Go Pokes)
