So… if you missed out on Day 1 of the recruiting recap leading up to signing day, you can read that right here. Here’s an update with everything you need to know about Oklahoma State’s recruits as signing day approaches on Wednesday.

  • Tyrell Alexander reaffirmed his commitment on Thursday to 247sports. Just days after making an official visit to Arkansas, who was considered a serious threat, and picking up an offer from Oregon earlier in the week, Alexander tells Ryan Bartow he is “solid” with the Cowboys and intends to sign this coming Wednesday – national signing day.

  • Mike Gundy was by to see defensive tackle Cam Murray, a 2016 commit from Bryant, ARK on Friday.

  • Gundy was also out on the road to see offensive guard commit Tyler Brown on Thursday

  • Running back Josh Jacobs, who I recently suggested to keep an eye on, continues to see his recruitment explode. The Sooners reportedly offered earlier in the week, and now he reports that Alabama and Nick Saban made an official offer extension on Friday. The Cowboys have running back Justice Hill in the mix along with LaDarren Brown, and it appears they are not giving much, if any, attention to the Tulsa McClain running back.
  • 2016 WR target Quartney Davis, who recently named OSU in his top selections, is making his final official visit to Texas A&M this weekend. After a visit to Ole Miss last weekend and Aggieville this weekend, I get the sense that OSU isn’t feeling too confident with their chances with the four-star receiver from the Houston area. OSU has a commitment from Tyrell Alexander and Dillon Stoner at receiver; if they take any receiver in this class, I think smart money is on the Plano East prospect Audie Omotosho.
  • Speaking of Omotosho, he is making an official visit to UCLA this weekend. Mike Gundy and receivers coach Kasey Dunn made an in-home visit earlier in the week, and it appears it is a 50/50 toss up between the Bruins and Cowboys.
  • Oklahoma State picked up a commitment from safety Javarus Blair, assuming he will join as a walk on.
