Fans Storm Count After Cowgirl Basketball Upsets No. 7 UCLA
The Cowgirl basketball team earned the program’s 17th win over a top-10 opponent with a 87-72 victory over No. 7 UCLA Bruins in Gallagher Iba Arena Saturday night.
Transfer guard Loryn Goodwin led all Cowgirls with 27 points. Kaylee Jensen and Braxtin Miller both scored 19 points, with Jenson leading all players in rebounds with 15.
The Cowgirls took control early and jumped out to a commanding first quarter lead, 20-6. Despite closing the deficit to as close as three in the second half, the Bruins never led the game.

The Cowgirls move to 7-2 on the season and stay undefeated at home. They now prepare for their next opponent, USC Upstate, for their game at home on Dec. 19.
