Former Cowboy Lenzy Pipkins Traded to the Indianapolis Colts
The former Cowboy was running with the third and fourth teams in Green Bay.
Former Oklahoma State cornerback Lenzy Pipkins has been traded by the Green Bay Packers for Indianapolis Colts linebacker Antonio Morrison.
The Colts announced the news in a trade announcement on Sunday.

Pipkins signed as an undrafted free agent with Green Bay in 2017, and used an impressive training camp to earn his way onto the Week 1 roster. He played in 12 games, starting one, and tallied 17 total tackles (13 solo), a tackle for loss, a pass defended and one special teams stop.
Green Bay added three cornerbacks this offseason between the draft and free agency, which forced Pipkins to fall down the depth chart. Indianapolis, however, has been bit with the injury bug in its secondary with Nate Hairston and Quincy Wilson both going down in practice last week.
Pipkins should be able to compete for immediate playing time in first-year defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus’ newly-stalled 4-3 scheme, but he’ll have to make an impression quick. Final roster cuts will take place by September 1.
