Former OSU Star, Retired NFL Vet Russell Okung Reveals Stunning Body Transformation
Russell Okung is living well in retirement!
Russell Okung, the former OSU star offensive linemen who spent a decade in the NFL as one of the most reliable tackles in the game, is living life large small in retirement.
Okung revealed on social media over the weekend that he has trimmed down his body to look like a new man in retirement, down from his playing weight of 300+ pounds to …. much less than that.
Stripped of context, of course, it just looks like a professional athlete who is in excellent shape. I get it. But look at the side-by-side of him — first from his time with the Broncos in 2016 and lastly with his current shape. It’s incredible.
Okung was the No. 6 overall pick in 2010 after twice earning All-Big 12 honors at Oklahoma State, culminating with winning Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2009. The Seahawks selected him with their first round pick in 2010 where he immediately stabilized the line, helping the franchise to a Super Bowl in 2013 while twice earning All-Pro honors during his decade-long career.
