The Cowboys have landed a four-star transfer receiver from the Big Ten.

Justin Bowick has committed to Oklahoma State, according to 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz. Listed at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, Bowick caught 22 passes at Illinois this past season for 265 yards and a team-best five touchdowns. Bowick has also spent time at Ball State and Eastern Illinois and should have one year of eligibility remaining.

247Sports considers Bowick the No. 106 player in the portal, listing him as the No. 26 receiver available. On3 is also high on him, listing him as the No. 274 player in its portal rankings.

He played in four games with Ball State in 2024, but those games were uber productive, as he caught 20 passes for 383 yards and three touchdowns. His final two games at Ball State saw him catch eight passes for 171 yards and a touchdown against Miami (OH) and seven passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns against Buffalo.

In two seasons at Eastern Illinois, Bowick played in 19 games (13 starts) and made 48 catches for 749 yards and eight touchdowns.

Despite spending all of his college career to this point in the Midwest, Bowick is from Powder Springs, Georgia. He was an unranked prospect before signing on with Eastern Illinois.

The Cowboys’ receiver room is essentially being rebuilt from the studs, as every receiver who had a catch for the Cowboys last season has either finished out their eligibility or entered the transfer portal.

Bowick is the fifth receiver OSU has added from the portal, joining Wyatt Young (North Texas), Miles Coleman (North Texas), Terrence Lewis (North Texas) and Israel Polk (Akron).
