Idaho State Transfer Kicker Gabe Panikowski Commits to Oklahoma State
Panikowski was 15-for-15 on field-goal attempts last season.
The Cowboys picked up a transfer kicker on Wednesday, and he didn’t miss last season.
Gabe Panikowski announced his commitment to Oklahoma State. He spent this past season at Idaho State, where he was 15-for-15 on field-goal attempts. He also primarily handled kickoffs from the Bengals, recording 23 touchbacks on 38 attempts. Panikowski was named an FCS All-American Second Team selection by the AP.
Words can’t describe how thankful I am to be apart of the cowboy family. I’m 100% committed and can’t wait to get to work. @coachseansnyder @CoachFotehOSU @CoachGundy pic.twitter.com/0bZiACjK1U

Of Panikowski’s 15 makes in 2024, three were from 40 yards or longer, with two of those being from 50+. He hit a 55-yarder against Northern Arizona in October, a game that featured Panikowski going 4-for-4.
Before his time with the Bengals, Panikowski played the 2023 season at Riverside City College in California, going 15-for-21. In 2022, Panikowski played at Sacramento State. He hails from San Diego, California and Torrey Pines High School, also competing in track, basketball, soccer and fencing as a high schooler.
Panikowski becomes the Cowboys’ eighth portal pledge this offseason and second of Wednesday, after Saginaw Valley State transfer linebacker Brandon Rawls committed to the Cowboys. Those two join defensive lineman Malik Charles (West Georgia), running back Kalib Hicks (Oklahoma), linebacker Bryan McCoy (Akron), tight end Jordan Owens (Central Arkansas), offensive lineman Lavaka Taukeiaho (Weber State) and offensive lineman Kasen Carpenter (Tulsa) as OSU portal pledges.
