In-State Product Sean Pedulla Includes Oklahoma State in Top Eight
OSU just offered Pedulla Wednesday.

It was a quick turnaround from his Oklahoma State offer, but Sean Pedulla now has a list.
Pedulla, a 2021 guard from Edmond-Memorial, announced a top eight Sunday that included Cowboys along with Virginia Tech, Minnesota, Wofford, Tulsa, Louisiana Tech, SMU and Colorado State.
OSU just offered the high-level scorer Wednesday. The Cowboys seem to be in a good spot with Pedulla considering they are one in only a handful of his high-major offers and they are an in-state school.
Mike Boynton still doesn’t have a commit in his 2021 class. OSU and Kansas State are the only Big 12 schools without a 2021 commit.
It could be an odd class for OSU, as there are a lot of variables that have yet to be worked out. As part of the NCAA sanctions tied to the FBI’s investigation into college basketball, OSU is supposed to lose three scholarships over the next three seasons. OSU is appealing those sanctions, so it’s still unsure whether that will stick.
Even if the scholarship sanctions do go away, the number of scholarships Boynton has available could vary. Ferron Flavors and Bryce Williams are the team’s only seniors, but Cade Cunningham will almost assuredly jump to the NBA after this season. There is a chance Isaac Likekele could as well. Then there is a chance that number could get flipped again if winter sport athletes get an extra year of eligibility like the NCAA granted fall athletes because of COVID-19.
All that is to say that Sean Pedulla’s late emergence came at a solid time for a state school with so many uncertainties.
