J.W. Walsh Is ‘So Proud’ of Mason Rudolph
Mason Rudolph had probably the best game of his young career last weekend against TCU. It was a mini-redemption day as he got benched in favor of The General in Lubbock. J.W. Walsh noted this week how proud he was of No. 2.
“I was so proud of him,” said Walsh. “He played very well against a very good football team. For him to come out and play the way he did is huge for us. He was big spark for our offense and I’m really proud of him.”
As Carson pointed out in one of our podcasts, Rudolph went full Tebow at a couple of points during the game.

I love seeing that. OSU needs both of these guys locked in down the stretch to have a chance. Rudolph knows it. Walsh knows it. Gundy knows it. We all know it.
“As the season goes on, there’s not as much mentoring going on as there was in the beginning,” said Walsh. “He has it figured out and is a great leader for our football team. If he needs help or has questions, I’m always there for him.”
He has it figured out to the tune of one of the probably five best seasons in Oklahoma State QB history. Even if No. 4 is swiping his potential dark-horse Heisman campaign.
