Jawun Evans Named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week
Oklahoma State’s highly touted freshman guard, Jawun Evans, earned Big 12 honors as the newcomer of the week following a breakout performance against Florida over the weekend.
Evans scored a team high 17 points to go with five assists and seven rebounds in the Cowboys’ 72-70 loss to Florida. He also contributed five points and three assists in the 73-55 win over Longwood, although he may have had three more points if the electricity hadn’t gone out.
