Kevin Henry out for the Season; Edison-McGruder Day-To-Day

Oklahoma State’s linebackers, a group that looked to be one of the deepest on the roster, has taken a couple hits both for the immediate future and long-term.
Weaks-side linebacker Kevin Henry was lost for the season after sustaining a knee injury during practice and did not make the trip to Mobile.

The redshirt sophomore was listed as Justin Phillips’ backup at the Will linebacker spot.
Henry relayed his feelings via his Twitter account, and received an outpouring of support from the Cowboy faithful.

Immediate Losses to LB Corps
Starting Star linebacker Kenneth Edison-McGruder also stayed in Stillwater Friday after sustaining his own undisclosed injury during practice earlier in the week. His status moving forward is day-t0-day, and he could return for the game next week at Pitt.
To add insult to injury, Glenn Spencers’ “1B” at Star Calvin Bundage will have to sit the first half against Pitt after getting flagged for targeting early in the third quarter.
