Former Oklahoma State star Le’Bryan Nash is headed back to Japan.

After a successful stint with the Fukushima Firebonds in 2015-16, Nash spent a year in the G League before a one-year, injury-laden stint with Busan KT Sonicboom. Now he’s returning to the B. League — formerly known as the BJ League — in Japan where he once starred.

Here’s more details from the Japan Times.

The former Fukushima Firebonds star finalized a deal with the B2’s Hachioji Bee Trains in August.

Nash, who starred at Oklahoma State, began his pro career with the Firebonds and made quite a splash as a rookie in the bj-league’s final season. He scored 30 or more points in his first five regular-season games, including a 47-point outburst against the Gunma Crane Thunders in the fourth contest. [Japan Times]

The Hachioji Bee Trains competes in the second division of the Japan B. League, the highest-tier Japanese pro league.

Nash set the BJ League single-game scoring record with a 54-point explosion during his first stint in Japan with the Firebonds, and later went on to claim the scoring crown by averaging 26.6 points per contest. He also won All-Star Game MVP.

Nash will be one of only two Americans on the Tokyo team roster, alongside former Scottsdale CC product Alex Jones.
