Leyton Hammonds Signs with BC Nokia in Finland
Former Oklahoma State forward Leyton Hammonds has signed with BC Nokia of the Korisliga in Finland. Hammonds averaged 8.1 points and 4.9 rebounds in his final season with the Cowboys. He played a major role in the Cowboys’ late-season surge in 2016, averaging almost 12 points in his final nine games.

“Leyton is strong, reaching and able to defend a diverse range of places to play,” Nokia’s translated press release stated. “We were looking … specifically for players who do not need the ball to be effective and to help teams. At least on paper, Leyton is exactly the player we are looking for.”
