Mike Boynton in Early on 2022 Guard Samuel Moss
Moss has taken off in recent showcase events.
Mike Boynton has had limited success recruiting the state of Georgia, but he is getting in early on another Peach State prospect.
Class of 2022 guard Samuel Moss announced an Oklahoma State offer Sunday.
Who Is He?
Moss doesn’t yet have profiles on the major recruiting services, but MaxPreps lists him as a 6-foot-3 guard. However, I’ve also seen him listed as tall as 6-foot-6.
He attends East Coweta High in Sharpsburg, Georgia. Georgia isn’t necessarily a pipeline for Boynton, but he has recruited the state before, landing Marcus Watson in 2019 and coming close to snagging JT Thor in 2020.
Moss’ recruitment process just now seems to be blossoming. At a showcase event in mid-August, Moss scored 41 points in a game.
His frame provides him a lot of potential. A lefty, he is a lanky, athletic perimeter player who can score at all three levels, but he looks most natural when attacking the rim.
Others Involved
Boston College is the only other school Moss has announced an offer from, and that offer came just last week.
