Mike Gundy Expected to Hire Patsy Armstrong for Recruiting Position
Mike Gundy is expected to hire Patsy Armstrong as Oklahoma State’s director of on-campus recruiting, according to a FootballScoop report.
Armstrong, who has spent the past five seasons as football administration specialist at San Diego State, would be the first female working in football operations in OSU program history.
Armstrong has worked at SDSU since 2005. She was a student life adviser in the Division of Student Affairs before moving to the athletic department. Once she started working in football, Armstrong’s responsibilities included analytical and evaluation aspects of recruiting and operational needs, social media managing, working with football student interns and managing community engagements for student-athletes,
according to her bio. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara, she received her masters in Post-Secondary Educational Leadership from SDSU in 2008.
