We have known for a while now that freshman receiver Tylan Wallace will wear No. 80, but the official Oklahoma State media guide was released at Big 12 Media Days, and the rest of the newcomers are included as well.

One of the most noteworthy listings was going to be whether Wallace’s twin brother, Tracin, was going to be placed at quarterback or defensive back. He and the other newcomers are listed below with their official position listed on the media guide as shown below.

Number Player Position Classification
4 Tracin Wallace QB Fr.
6 Adrian Baker CB R-Sr.
8 Braydon Johnson WR Fr.
13 Tyron Johnson WR R-So.
13 Lamarcus Morton CB Fr.
15 Brendan Vaughn LB Fr.
18 Jelani Woods QB Fr.
20 Malcolm Rodriguez S Fr.
23 Trey Sterling DB Fr.
24 LD Brown RB R-Fr.
27 J.D. King RB Fr.
28 Thabo Mwaniki S Fr.
30 Chuba Hubbard RB Fr.
40 Brock Martin DE Fr.
42 Sione Finefeuiaki CW Jr.
44 Patrick Macon LB Jr.
51 Arlington Hambright OL Jr.
56 Enoch Smith Jr. DT R-Jr.
77 Tyler Moore OL Jr.
78 Aaron Cochran OL R-Sr.
80 Tylan Wallace WR Fr.
81 LC Greenwood WR Fr.
86 Baron Odom CW Fr.
98 Brendon Evers DT Fr.

Outside of freshmen and junior college transfers, there are several worth noting listed on the roster: Tyron Johnson will wear 13, Clemson cornerback transfer Adrian Baker, who we project will start this season, will wear 6, Cal grad transfer tackle Aaron Cochran will rep 78, and Minnesota transfer Tyler Moore will wear 77 (although he isn’t eligible until 2018).

While there aren’t any glaring oddities of the roster, it’s worth noting that Tracin Wallace is in fact listed at quarterback where he starred in high school, despite two ACL tears in consecutive seasons.
