Next Up: Spencer Sanders Makes a Reception and C.J. Moore Has Another TD in Week 8
Spencer Sanders and C.J. Moore kept their squads perfect on the season and Jahmyl Jeter tore it up once again. Here’s how OSU recruits performed in week eight action.
Spencer Sanders, Quarterback
The Ryan Raiders dominated Sherman last Friday in a 53-19 blowout. Sanders threw for 331 yards and four touchdowns on 17-of-26 passing. Sanders has led Denton Ryan to an undefeated record, and the Raiders have only played in one game that was remotely close. Sanders also had a nice hurdle on a 14-yard reception.
C.J. Moore, Wide Receiver
Tulsa Union routed Southmoore 48-0 last week to stay unbeaten. Moore set a school record for touchdown receptions in a career two weeks ago, and he built on that total last Thursday with a 19-yard touchdown reception.
Jahmyl Jeter, Running Back
Brennan handled San Antonio Brandeis 39-9 last week to improve to 4-3 on the season. Jeter eclipsed 4,000 rushing yards for his career and 1,000 for the season after running for 212 yards and three touchdowns last week. Brennan is now 4-0 in district and a lock to make the playoffs.

Jonathan Shepherd, Wide Receiver
Kilgore beat rival Henderson 45-35 and Shepherd caught four balls for 32 yards. His fourth catch of the night helped set up a Kilgore touchdown to help seal the game at the end. Shepherd did drop a would-be touchdown in the win.
Gabe Lemons, Athlete
Lemons had three tackles including a tackle for loss last week. He did not record any offensive stats in a 55-14 Coppell Cowboy rout of White HS. Lemons will likely get more offensive snaps next week against Dallas Skyline.

Brownfield had a bye last week before taking on Dalhart and Bushland to close out the regular season. There is still no word on when Nolan could return from injury.
