Next Up: Playoff Season Is Upon Us, Lacy-Barron Square off in Texas
C.J. Moore will play for a state title, two future Cowboys were knocked out of the playoffs and we finally get to see a Cowboy-on-Cowboy matchup that we were robbed of in round one.
Spencer Sanders, Quarterback
Denton Ryan kicked off its state title pursuit with a 42-17 win over White Settlement Brewer. Spencer Sanders threw for 159 yards and two scores while adding 149 yards and another touchdown on the ground. The Ryan Raiders will take on Birdville next week in round two.

Also, Boone is ready for you Spencer.

CJ Moore, Wide Receiver
Tulsa Union won a defensive struggle against Broken Arrow 21-0 last week. The Redskins leaned on the ground game for the majority of their scoring once again. After an off week for Thanksgiving, Union will take on Owasso for the 6A state championship on December 1. Union defeated Owasso 44-41 in overtime earlier in the season.
Jahmyl Jeter, Running Back
Jeter did not play due to injury as his high school career came to an end with a 31-3 loss to Jayveon Cardwell and Cibolo Steele last week. The next time Jeter suits up, it will be in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Congratulations to Jeter on a 1,000-yard season and a 4,000-yard career at Brennan HS.
Had so much fun playing with these boys had a whole lot of memories on and off the field can’t believe this season and the past 4 years went this fast. It’s been a great ride I️ love every single one of y’all. #family pic.twitter.com/3wb5jDqBjo

Jonathon Shepherd, Wide Receiver
Shepherd had a catch for 10 yards to help set up a short touchdown throw in the second quarter. Kilgore rolled over Little Cypress-Mauriceville 49-0 and the Bulldogs will take on El Campo next week.
Gabe Lemons, Athlete
Coppell defeated Rowlett 37-6 last week to advance to a round two date with Mesquite Horn. Lemons coupled five tackles with two catches for 26 yards in the win.
Blake Barron, Linebacker
Rockwall shocked defending 6A runner-up The Woodlands 23-7 on Saturday. Barron played a big role in holding a good Highlanders offense to just 7 points. Barron and the Yellowjackets will take on Tyler Lacy and undefeated Sachse next week.

Tyler Lacy, Defensive End
Last week we were robbed of a Jayveon Cardwell -Jahmyl Jeter matchup. This week we finally get two future Pokes squaring off on the biggest stage, albeit both on defense. Sachse defeated Lake Highlands 49-28 last week and Lacy was an absolute animal. The big D-end totaled 11 tackles including a sack in the win.
Jayveon Cardwell, Cornerback
Cardwell and his Steele Knights held Brennan to just 3 points last week in a 31-3 win. Cardwell made one tackle and shut down Brennan receivers all night. Cardwell will look to replicate his performance next week against Vandegrift.
