NFL Highlights, Updates: Tylan Toe-Taps to a Big TD, Chuba’s Takes Over Munich
Tylan and Chuba both logged career games.
This week’s edition of NFL Highlights is headlined by a pair of former teammates who both logged career days.
Tylan Recreates Famous Sideline Score
On Thursday night, Tylan Wallace helped his Baltimore Ravens pull within a half-game of the division lead by pulling out one of the classics.

Wallace made a couple defenders miss and then jetted down the sideline, somehow avoiding the white line, and sped away for an 84-yard score.

Hauling in all three of his targets, Tylan ended with a career-high 115 yards and that score.
The Thursday timeslot made it possible for Tylan to provide on-hand moral support as his alma mater faced TCU in Fort Worth on Saturday. He and the Ravens will head to the Steel City to face AFC North leader Pittsburgh at noon Sunday in a crucial division game.
Chuba Takes Over in Germany
The Carolina Panthers hosted the New York Giants in Munich, Germany on Sunday morning, but Chuba felt right at home.
Just days after inking a big contract extension, Chuba turned in a career-high 153 rushing yards and a score to help the Panthers earn the 20-17 overtime win.

He did have one fumble late, which was immediately followed by a Giants turnover, but we can probably give him a pass. According to Chuba, he let loose of the ball too early due to his “knee briefly dislocating,” something that’s happened before. (😳)
Chuba did return to and finish the game, but he’ll get a little extra time to ice that knee as the Panthers head into a bye week.
Jaylen Warren, by Land or by Air
Another former OSU tailback was making plays on Sunday.
Jaylen Warren is one of the main engines driving a Steelers team that currently leads the AFC North. In Pittsburgh’s win over Washington, he contributed both in the rushing and passing games.

Warren amassed 66 rushing yards on 14 carries and caught both of his targets for another 29 yards receiving. His Steelers will take on Justice and Tylan on Sunday for that coveted AFC North lead.
Teven Jenkins Down Again
This obviously falls into the update category of our program, but the former OSU lineman went down for the fifth time in six games and did not return.
Jenkins had his ankle rolled on during his Bears’ dismantling by the New England Patriots, in a matchup of top QB draft picks. No. 3 overall pick Drake Maye got the best of this year’s No. 1 rookie Caleb Williams. But it’s tough to be too hard on the enigmatic rookie who was sacked nine times. Four of Jenkins’ fellow O-linemen were inactive for the game due to injury.
Jenkins’ status for the Bears’ Week 11 trip to Green Bay is yet to be confirmed.
