NFL teams have wrapped up their Week 16 slate ahead of Christmas. Let’s check in on a few former Cowboys to see how they fared as the season winds down.

Chuba Hubbard’s OT Dagger

The Chuba train continues to roll.

Hubbard continued his career season, racking up 152 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday, including the walk-off game-winner. And he brought Carolina fans an early Christmas present, leading the Panthers to a 36-30 overtime win against the Cardinals. It’s their first win since Nov. 10 (when Chuba had 153 and a score).

At home, in overtime, Chuba shed two unblocked defenders, scurried away and then strutted into the end zone.

His big game garnered Chuba NFC Offensive Play of the Week honors, to boot. Chuba also garnered some high praise from an all-time Panther.

Hubbard ranks fifth in the NFL in rushing at 1,195 yards. While the Panthers aren’t making the postseason, if he finishes strong from a statistical standpoint, he might just make a case for a darkhorse Pro Bowl selection.

Mixed Bag for Mason

Mason Rudolph got the start for Tennessee a week after spelling a struggling Will Levis, but he turned in his own three-pick performance at Indianapolis.

But first, the good stuff.

Rudolph ended the day 22-of-34 for 252 yards (64.7%). In his four starts with Tennessee this year, he’s 1-3. But regardless of who is taking snaps, the Titans are tied for an AFC-worst 3-12.

Tyler Lacy Continues Climb

Lacy has had a lowkey productive year with the Jaguars. After appearing in 15 games (without a start) as a rookie, Lacy has started eight of his 13 appearances this season. He’s sitting at 25 total tackles (10 solo), a QB hit and two tackles for loss.

He logged one of those on Sunday.

A Scary Fall for Justice Hill

The former Cowboy running back left the Ravens’ 34-17 win against the Steelers after he took a tough fall which left him unconscious. Hill was later diagnosed with a concussion and did not take part in Baltimore’s Sunday practice as part of the NFL’s concussion protocol. He finished with two carries for 30 yards.

The Ravens have a short week, playing on Christmas, and Hill is set to miss that game. He’s is having a career year, sitting at 228 rushing yards, 383 receiving yards and four total TDs. He signed a two-year $6 million extension in September.
