No Matter Kansas Outcome, First Round of Big 12 Tournament Will be Bedlam
No matter the outcome of Saturday afternoon’s matchup between Oklahoma State and No. 6 Kansas, OSU’s first-round pairing in the Big 12 Tournament has been set.
And it will be Bedlam.
Literally.
On Wednesday, the Cowboys will play Oklahoma in the 8-9 game, which will tip off at 6 p.m. and be carried by ESPNU.

This is … ideal, to say the least, if you’re an OSU fan.
Oklahoma, despite winning on Friday night over hapless Iowa State, has been a shell of what it was a month ago. The Sooners will head into the postseason with a respectable 18-12 record, but that doesn’t tell the full story of their season: they have lost seven of their last nine games and are full-blown limping into the postseason.
The Cowboys and Sooners split the regular season series, with both snagging wins on their home floors. Dependent upon the outcome of Saturday’s game vs. Kansas, it might be win or head to the NIT for Oklahoma State, which needs Quadrant 1 wins as bad as Brad Underwood needs a vacation.
