Oklahoma State and Oregon State to Play For All The OS Hats
Oklahoma State and Oregon State leave Ohio State out in the cold, play home-and-home at the end of the decade.

I think I stole that headline from somebody on Twitter … or somewhere, I’m not sure.
Anyway, Oklahoma State added Oregon State for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Corvallis in 2019 and Stillwater in 2020.
I remain split on the “schedule a good home-and-home with another Power Five team.” On one hand, if you’re a good squad (like the Pokes this year) and schedule bad teams (like the Pokes this year), you only have to win 4-5 real games (I don’t count Kansas and Iowa State) to go undefeated.
On the other hand, if you schedule correctly, you can prop up a non-con loss at an “incredibly tough Oregon State squad in September” as more of a reason you should get into the College Football Playoff even if you’re 10-2.
Let’s say Baylor schedules Oregon State last year as a non-con and wins. Does it get in? Ehhhh … maybe. Even if it loses, it still goes to the Cotton Bowl.
As a fan, I’m totally in on games like this because odds are, I mean realistic odds are, that your team isn’t playing for the title in a given year. Might as well get in some fun against a halfway decent non-con team rather than bludgeoning UTSA to death.
Who knows, by the time 2019 rolls around, the Playoff will probably be 8-12 teams and a game like this won’t matter as much. As long as you go 10-2 in one of the big boy conferences, you’re in.
Anyway, here are OSU’s future non-con games as of today:
2016
Southeastern Louisiana
Central Michigan
Pittsburgh
2017
Tulsa
South Alabama (!)
Pittsburgh
2018
South Alabama
Boise State
Central Michigan
2019
Oregon State
Tulsa
2020
Oregon State
Tulsa
South Alabama
2021
Tulsa
Boise State
Also, an interesting stat from Robert Allen: OSU has won six of seven and eight of 10 against Pac-12 teams.
Oh, and winner gets to keep the interlocking “OS” forever and ever.
