Oklahoma State Makes Top 5 for Four-Star Defensive Back Devon Jordan
The Cowboys make another cut for one of the state’s top prospects.

The Cowboys have made another cut in the pursuit of four-star defensive back Devon Jordan.
Jordan on Wednesday released his top five schools: Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Alabama, TCU and Texas A&M.
Out of Union High School, Jordan is listed at 5-foot-11, 168 pounds. He released a top 10 in June before cutting Miami, Kansas State, Iowa State, Missouri and Vanderbilt from consideration.
Listed at the No. 435 player in the 247Sports Composite rankings, Jordan is the No. 35 corner in the 2024 class and the No. 3 player from the state of Oklahoma. The Cowboys have a good start on defensive backs in the 2024 class with Landyn Cleveland, David Kabongo and Willie Nelson all committed, but Jordan would be the highest ranked among those defensive backs should he pick the Pokes.
Jordan helped Union to an 11-1 record as a junior in 2022, logging 43 tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions and a forced fumble. Also a track star, Jordan ran a 10.71 and a 10.91 100-meter dash this past spring.
Jordan took an official visit to Stillwater in June.
Oklahoma State has 13 commits in its 2023 class as things stand. The class ranks 57th nationally and 10th in the Big 12 rankings that include Arizona, Arizona State, Utah and Colorado but exclude Oklahoma and Texas.
