Oklahoma State Moves to No. 10 in Rankings After Shakeup Saturday

It was an eventful week in college football with several top-ranked teams taking a loss in blow-out fashion, including Georgia, the No. 1 team in the College Football Playoff standings.

Who Jumped up?

Auburn moved up to No. 6 after drumming No. 2 Georgia 40-17 and Miami went from 7th all the way up to No. 2 after beating up on No. 3 Notre Dame 41-8. Alabama remains No. 1 in both polls after escaping Starkville with a win. Mississippi State actually moved up one spot in the AP poll after giving a depleted Crimson Tide team its biggest scare so far.

Who dropped off?

Notre Dame and Georgia dropped only slightly after blowout losses. TCU dropped from 8 to 11 after leaving Norman with an L.

Conference Outlook

The league continues beating up on itself with Oklahoma atop the mountain for now. TCU dropped slightly. OSU moved up to 10th and Iowa State is back out of the top 25. West Virginia dropped one spot after beating Kansas State.
