Oklahoma State Offers 2024 Four-Star Quarterback Maealiuaki Smith

The Cowboys’ staff is still in search for a quarterback in the 2024 class, going out west for its most recent offer.

Maealiuaki Smith announced and Oklahoma State offer on Thursday. Out of San Mateo, California, Smith is a four-star prospect, according to ESPN, and listed as the No. 278 player in the entire class.

Who Is He?

Listed at 6-foot-4, 195 pounds, Smith plays his preps ball for Junipero Serra in San Mateo. He threw for 2,546 yards and 34 touchdowns as a junior, leading the Padres to a 13-1 record.

OSU at Quarterback in the 2024 Cycle

Smith becomes just the fifth quarterback the Cowboys have offered in the cycle. Two of those quarterbacks are committed to programs in Will Hammond (Texas Tech) and Hauss Hejny (TCU). Henjy committed to TCU this week after visiting Stillwater a few weekends back.

The other quarterbacks OSU have offered are four-star Isaac Wilson, out of Utah and younger brother of Zach Wilson, and three-star Luke Moga from Arizona.
