A month ago, Oklahoma State landed its 2025 quarterback commit in Adam Schobel, flipping the Columbus, Texas, product from Baylor. Well, now the Cowboys are after their 2026 passer.

Oklahoma State on Tuesday offered Corner Canyon (Utah) quarterback Helaman Casuga, he announced via X. Listed at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, Casuga is the No. 174 player in his recruiting class, per the 247Sports Composite ranking. That makes him the No. 14 quarterback in the class.

OSU joined the likes of USC, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Arizona, Washington and others in offering Casuga.

Casuga played as a sophomore at Timpview in Provo, Utah, before transferring to state power Corner Canyon. As a sophomore, he led his Timpview squad to an 11-2 record and a Utah 5A state tile while throwing for 4,145 yards and 34 touchdowns to 14 interceptions. He also ran for another 279 yards and two scores.

Casuga threw for at least 300 yards in nine games this past season and threw for at least 400 on two occasions. His season-high for passing yards came against Wasatch in September, where he threw for 423 yards and three touchdowns. The weekend before, he threw for 355 yards and a season-high five touchdowns against Cedar Valley.

At Corner Canyon, Casuga will be throwing to OSU commit Jordan Vyborny this upcoming season. A member of the 2025 class, Vyborny also transferred to the school this offseason. OSU has had a lot of success recruiting Utah as of late, adding Nuku Mafi in the 2024 class, Sesi Vailahi in 2023 and others throughout recent years.

According to 247Sports, Casuga is the fifth 2026 quarterback the Cowboys have offered, joining Rees Wise (Texas), Brady Smigiel (California), Tait Reynolds (Arizona) and Quinn Murphy (Texas).
