Oklahoma State Offers NFL Flag Football Player of the Year Daniel Berry
Berry has wheels.
Flag football is continuing to grow, so much so that it’ll be included in the 2028 Olympics. Earlier this week, the Cowboys offered reigning NFL Flag player of the year Daniel Berry.
A 5-foot-9, 165-pound receiver prospect in the 2026 class, Berry is a multiple-time NFL Flag champion and was named the NFL Flag Player of the Year.
In traditional football, Berry plays at Weiss High School in Pflugerville, Texas. As a junior this past season, he caught 58 passes for 706 yards and eight touchdowns while running for another 121 yards. He also scored on a punt return and a kick return.
He committed to North Texas last month and also has offers to Wake Forest, Coastal Carolina, Texas State, Louisiana and others. He’s the No. 1,513 player in the On3 Industry Rankings for the 2026 class.
He’s a speedster, with MileSplit crediting him with a 10.47 100-meter dash time this year.
The Cowboys seem to be after another receiver for their 2026 class, sending out recent offers to Matthew McClain (Plano, Texas) and Lathon Latiolais (Prosper, Texas). As things stand, OSU has one receiver pledged in the class in Waco’s Jabarie Thornton.
