Oklahoma State Secures Fifth OL Commit of the 2018 Class
The Josh Henson fit just felt right from Day 1 (before actually). And the biggest selling point on the former Cowboy lineman was his recruiting acumen. So far, he hasn’t disappointed. Just four months after the Cowboys finalized a signing class without a single high school O-lineman, they boast five prospects verbally committed for 2018.
The latest comes from three-star prospect Jacob Farrell from Sulphur High School (Okla.).
Farrell is the 15th ranked overall prospect from the state of Oklahoma and has played in the trenches on both sides of the ball. He joins Hunter Anthony (Tuttle) and Bryce Bray (Bixby) as three of the top five in-state offensive line prospects according to 247Sports, all are headed to Stillwater next year.
Oklahoma State extended an offer one month ago (May 13) and it didn’t take Farrell long to make up his mind. He turned down offers from TCU, Texas Tech and others. He’s also seen interest from Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri.
Here’s a look at what we can expect from Farrell in the future.
