OSU Edge Rusher Wendell Gregory Arrested
Not ideal.
After a three sack performance in his Cowboy debut, Wendell Gregory was arrested Saturday.
Gregory was arrested for larceny of merchandise from a retailer. Across four days in early May, Gregory allegedly stole $211.88 worth of merchandise from the Stillwater Walmart on Perkins Road. An arrest warrant was filed May 22 and issued May 23.
Oklahoma State has not commented on the arrest as of writing.
A transfer from South Carolina, Gregory made three sacks in the first half of the Cowboys’ 27-7 season-opening win against UT-Martin. It was the first time an OSU player had three sacks in a game since Jordan Brailford did so in 2018.
Gregory was a four-star recruit in the 2024 recruiting class, choosing an offer from South Carolina over Arkansas, Auburn, Michigan, Nebraska, Tennessee, USC and others. He played in two games for the Gamecocks last season while maintaining a redshirt and came to Stillwater as a redshirt freshman.
