OSU Given Third-Best Odds to Win CFP Among Big 12 Teams
Vegas likes the Cowboys to have a bounceback year, but it likes that burnt orange money even more.
College football has been over for all of three weeks, so it’s time to prognosticate the successes of next year and for handicappers to set up the books for a plethora of money-moving bets.
Caesar’s Palace has apparently set odds for every FBS team based on their chance to win the whole thing in 2019-20.
Oklahoma State comes in at 150-1 to take home that weird-looking trophy sculpture thing. That gives the Pokes the third-best odds among Big 12 teams.
Texas — 15-1
Oklahoma — 20-1
Oklahoma State — 150-1
Texas Tech — 200-1
Baylor — 200-1
Iowa State — 200-1
TCU — 300-1
Kansas State — 500-1
Kansas — 1,000-1
A returning quarterback and a two-year upward trajectory lands the Longhorns ahead of the Sooners as the favorite to come out of the Big 12. It looks like the oddsmakers like OSU to have a bounceback year with a new OC and QB after its 7-6 finish in 2018.

Alabama is the odds-on favorite at 5/2 and reigning champ Clemson comes in next at 2-1. Other notable contenders according to Vegas are Georgia at 6-1, Mike Yurcich’s new team, Ohio State, given 15-1 odds and Michigan with 20-1 odds.
