Rudolph, Washington and Ateman Weigh In, Measured at Senior Bowl
The Reese’s Senior Bowl takes place this Saturday in Mobile, Alabama. On Tuesday, Mason Rudolph, James Washington and Marcell Ateman arrived in Mobile to take measurements and meetings with representatives from prospective NFL suitors.
Let’s take a look at those measurables.
| Player | Position | Ht. | Wt. | Hand | Arm | Wing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mason Rudolph | QB | 6’4″ | 229 | 9 1/8″ | 32 1/2″ | 78 3/4″ |
| James Washington | WR | 5’11” | 210 | 9 5/8″ | 33 7/8″ | 77 3/4″ |
| Marcell Ateman | WR | 6’4″ | 216 | 9″ | 33 5/8″ | 78 1/4″ |
Least surprising thing we learned? Mason Rudolph’s hands are on the smaller side, especially for someone his size. Most surprising? Marcell Ateman’s measured even smaller! It’s not all about the numbers. Ateman had one of the most clutch seasons of any OSU receiver ever and definitely made his fair share of big-time catches.
Of note, Rudolph and Troy QB Brandon Silvers both came in a 9 1/8 inches on the high-fiver, tied for smallest among QBs. According to a report from Ian Rapoport, Baker Mayfield was unable to attend the weigh-in due to a family matter.
Washington has exceptionally long arms for someone who is under six feet. Incredibly, they are even longer than Ateman’s.
So Oklahoma State WR James Washington, who is under 5-11, has arms (33 7/8") about as long as PSU TE Mike Gesicki (34") who is north of 6-foot-5. No wonder he played so big on 50-50 balls.#SeniorBowl

Rudolph, who is still wearing a boot due to a foot sprain, will not take part in practices or the Senior Bowl on Saturday. Both Washington and Ateman are on the South roster and should see come action during the game which will air on the NFL Network at 1:30 p.m. Central time on Saturday.
