Coach Boynton got a HUGE Commitment
At about 6 p.m. on Sunday, Cowboy fans knew good news was headed their way.

A little later than anticipated … seriously Marcus, we thought you were committing hours earlier …
The year is 2023. Mike Boynton has just won his third consecutive national title at OSU. The No. 1 player in the country, LeBron James, Jr., has committed to #okstate. And Marcus Watson has finally announced his college commitment.
— Kyle Boone (@PFBoone) October 22, 2018
Watson posted his commitment video informing us that he plans be in a Cowboy uni next year. Catch some of his highlights here.

On a less riveting note, the Pokes were picked last in the Preseason Big 12 Rankings
For the second time in Mike Boynton's two seasons, #OKState was voted to finish last in the Big 12 in the conference's preseason basketball poll, selected by the league's coaches. The Cowboys received the same number of votes as last season.

Will Spencer Sanders see any action on Saturday?
Here’s an intro from Bill Haisten of the Tulsa World. If you want to hear more, check out the PistolsFiring Podcast from last week.
"Spencer Sanders is the most gifted QB on the roster. Program insiders love his arm. Like Brock Purdy for the Cyclones, Sanders could energize teammates and change games by making plays in the run game."@billhaisten on the crisis at #OKState: https://t.co/jawAvhGUOk

Carson Cunningham and Haisten are on the same page.
They scored 12 points vs. Kansas State. https://t.co/9m59OhpNsT

New Baseball Stadium to Bear Name of Cecil O’Brate
He doesn't demand the spotlight. Mike Holder called him "the manifestation of the American Dream." The new home of #OKState baseball will bear his name.

Here is a snapshot of the future entrance.
