Social Reaction: West Virginia Gives Victorious Cowboys Halloween Scare

West Virginia scored 14 points in 50 seconds in the third quarter to cut Oklahoma State’s lead to six points, and that did a number on a lot of peoples’ heartbeats.

Here are some of the best a lot of you all had to offer in OSU’s 50-39 victory in Morgantown:

The funnies started late in the first quarter when former Heisman candidate Zach Sinor muffed the hold on the extra point, which at one point could have made the difference.

I wonder if Clint ever had that fire for Dan Bailey back in the day.

The OSU defense held West Virginia’s offense under 400 yards and forced five turnovers, which made you wonder how seriously the Cowboy defense is being appreciated.

That might not matter because I think Ramon Richards has enough appreciation for all.

Oh, then things happened. A 21-7 run later, the Cowboys’ grip on the Neers’ throats loosened and tightened on their own.

OK, OK. Then Mason Rudolph (in the rain) played like Mason Rudolph (in the sunshine).

Here’s to a couple fewer beers in Bedlam. Fingers crossed.
