Social Reaction: West Virginia Gives Victorious Cowboys Halloween Scare
West Virginia scored 14 points in 50 seconds in the third quarter to cut Oklahoma State’s lead to six points, and that did a number on a lot of peoples’ heartbeats.
Here are some of the best a lot of you all had to offer in OSU’s 50-39 victory in Morgantown:
The funnies started late in the first quarter when former Heisman candidate Zach Sinor muffed the hold on the extra point, which at one point could have made the difference.

If Ammendola is thinking about whether or not the ball is down he’s thinking less about missing from inside 20. #sinor4dchess pic.twitter.com/NyGiGUCqbX

I wonder if Clint ever had that fire for Dan Bailey back in the day.
The OSU defense held West Virginia’s offense under 400 yards and forced five turnovers, which made you wonder how seriously the Cowboy defense is being appreciated.
If we had OU on our jerseys everyone would be talking about this defense. Thats a fact

“In the last 3 meetings between the Cowboys and West Virginia, including today, #OKState has outscored WVU 50-0 in points off turnovers.”

@pistolsguys, has nobody started a Gofundme to get Glenn Spencer a KFC? Asking for a friend…

That might not matter because I think Ramon Richards has enough appreciation for all.

Oh, then things happened. A 21-7 run later, the Cowboys’ grip on the Neers’ throats loosened and tightened on their own.
How to let teams back in a game, as demonstrated by OSU:
1. Place foot on throat
2. Get super conservative
3. Slowly take foot off throat— Tyler Ames (@TyAmes93) October 28, 2017
WVU was down 20 to OSU like … five minutes ago. Now getting the ball back down six and James Washington’s right knee is hurt.

OK, OK. Then Mason Rudolph (in the rain) played like Mason Rudolph (in the sunshine).
Oklahoma State is finally pulling away from Oklahoma State.

First four-INT performance for #OKState since Nov. 7, 2015 – when OSU picked off Trevone Boykin four times in Stillwater.

Here’s to a couple fewer beers in Bedlam. Fingers crossed.
