Social Roundup: McCleskey Leaving, Mason Cox Balling Aussie Style

Let’s recap a rollercoaster week on Social Media

The previous seven days provided a glimpse of what many Cowboy fans have experienced in prior years: doses of excitement and optimism leading to disappointment. Let’s dive into the highs and lows on social media last week.

Recruiting

Four-star Guard Avery Anderson committed to OSU last week, and oh boy, he can go. Check out these highlights from Ballislife.com.

Pokes also made the Final 4 for this Class of ’19, 4-Star wing out of Georgia.

These types of events may help explain Boynton’s recruiting success.

It wasn’t all highs. The low points was seeing the Dax2Stilly Campaign come up short, as Justice Hill’s little brother committed to Michigan last week.

OSU football recruiting did have a respectable week however, as the Pokes picked up a commitment from Dallas Skyline product Kamryn Farrar.

Weather’s Suspension

Boone broke this story last week. Hate to see poor choices being made from those on Boynton’s squad.

Jalen McCleskey will utilize the new redshirt rule

Jalen McCleskey is out of Stillwater as of Monday, September 24. He made the decision to utilize the redshirt rule, allowing him to preserve eligibility to use at another school.

It seems McCleskey expected to get more targets than any other WR on this year’s team.

Losing to Tech (In-Game)

Play of the Day in the disappointing loss to Tech

Losing to Tech (Post-Game)

I feel this…

Saturday was one of the worst performances in recent memory for the Pokes.

This was one of my takeaways from the game as well. Hope to see Justice get more touches this week.

Of course… With the Pokes demise, the Longhorns take advantage and beat a TCU team who was beaten up by Ohio State last week.

Cowboy Golf

Hovy is the real deal!!

This was awesome. Cowboy Golf is overflowing with momentum.

!!!

Non-OSU

Big Presti fan right here.

Love this!

I laughed.
