Superlatives from the Sugar Bowl
Winners: The SEC…
Losers: The wide receivers. They missed on some pretty balls from Rudolph and flat out dropped some that were momentum killers on several drives.
Offensive MVP: Mason Rudolph. Even with a screw in his foot, he came to play and he was dialed in from the start.
Defensive MVP: Ashton Lampkin. The couple week rest for Lampkin paid dividends, after dealing with ankle injuries off and on throughout the season. He looked well rested and every bit the part of the starting cornerback that Spencer has grown to trust. He had a nice INT to start the game as well.

Gutsy player: The General left it all on the field. He finished the game with the only touchdown scores, and lead the team in rushing.
Best gear: Emmanuel Ogbah with the beast mouthpiece.

All the landsharks, Vincent.
Vincent Taylor gets the sack and does the land shark sign. I love. https://t.co/9YbYaXioMG

Best quote: “We came to the Sugar Bowl, but that’s not enough. We lost our last three, so we’ve got to find a way to finish. And that’s what we’re going to do.” — Tre Flowers via The Oklahoman.
