Tyron Johnson Will Be Back for TCU, Madre Harper Has Been Dismissed from OSU
When Oklahoma State made the 1,000-plus mile trip to Pittsburgh it did so without wide receiver Tyron Johnson as well as sophomore cornerback Madre Harper.
Mike Gundy addressed the absence of the two players after the game and told media on hand that Johnson will return on Sunday. Harper, however, is no longer part of the team.
Mike Gundy said CB Madre Harper is no longer on the team. He said WR Tyron Johnson will be back tomorrow. #okstate

Harper is the second player to be booted off the team this week. It comes just days after true freshman linebacker Brendan Vaughn was kicked off following a drug arrest.
This obviously hurts the depth at cornerback, given that Harper was a listed backup. Having Tyron Johnson back for TCU is good given the uncertainty on Chris Lacy’s availability after suffering an apparent shoulder injury against Pitt.
“We had a few players this week who lost focus,” Gundy said on Saturday in reference to Johnson. “We got out of our world and our culture. So when that happens they can’t be with us. But when we come back on Sunday, they’ll be with us and play games. They are healthy and they didn’t violate any rules outside of the team.”
