For the first time this season, these stats won’t be filled with Kool-Aid.

Texas Tech thumped Oklahoma State 41-17 on Saturday in what was one of the more unexpected losses for OSU in recent memory. Here are 10 key stats from that loss.

3: OSU has lost its past three Big 12 openers. The Cowboys are 2-5 in conference openers since they won the Big 12 title in 2011 with losses to Texas, West Virginia, Baylor, TCU and now Tech.

20: This is the first time since Oct. 7 of last year that Texas Tech has held an FBS opponent to under 20 points. The last team? Kansas, which scored 19.

20: This is the first time since 2014 that OSU has scored less than 20 points in a loss. The previous time was against Texas, where the Cowboys fell 28-7. Last season, OSU also scored less than 20 against Texas but managed to win 13-10.

17: This is Texas Tech’s first victory in Stillwater since 2001, which was 17 years ago. Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury threw for 440 yards and four touchdowns in that game as Tech’s quarterback. Forty of those yards were to Wes Welker.

91: The OSU offense had 91 yards in the second half.

0: The Cowboys scored 0 points in the second half. It’s the first time OSU hasn’t scored in a half since the aforementioned 2014 Texas game.

18: Matt Ammendola’s streak of made field goals got up to 18 Saturday, but it also ended. Ammendola made a 39-yarder in the first quarter but missed a 36-yarder in the third.

100: Tylan Wallace is the third OSU underclassman to have 100 receiving yards in three straight games. The other two were James Washington and Justin Blackmon, not bad company. All three are/were sophomores.

1: Jarrick Bernard recorded his first career interception Saturday. Bernard, a freshman, has made quite the impact in his rookie season, already having also blocked a punt and recorded a sack.

67: Former Heisman hopeful punter Zach Sinor played in his first game Saturday, and he unloaded on his first punt attempt. Sinor rocketed the punt 67 yards, a career long.
