The 2027 Oklahoma State Baseball Schedule Features Big 12’s Best and Worst Teams

On Thursday the Big 12 released Oklahoma State’s conference baseball schedule.

The Pokes open conference play against a Kansas State team which earned the 11th seed last season before upsetting two teams to finish as a quarterfinalist. The Cowboys will get a shot at reigning Big 12 champion Kansas on the road on May 7-9. The Jayhawks won their regional, but were unable to get out of Supers despite playing at home.

The very next week, OSU heads to West Virginia for the final road series of conference play to battle against a Mountaineer team which not only advanced to the College World Series but survived the first two rounds of cuts to finish third nationally.

The back half of Oklahoma State’s Big 12 schedule includes a road trip to Arizona and a regular-season home series against Houston. Those two teams finished at the bottom of the Big 12 standings combining to nearly evenly split a combined 16-44 record in Big 12 play.

Oklahoma State dodges Arizona State and Cincinnati after those teams finished third and sixth in the regular-season Big 12 standings last season.

The Big 12 Tournament will take place from May 25-29 in Surprise, Arizona, which is the home of spring training for the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals.
