• College football analyst David Pollack on OSU’s star quarterback: “The future No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft, Drew Mestemaker” (PFB)

• Cowgirl Softball beat Oklahoma Christian, 13-3 last night

• Eric Morris called out a nice ceiling for the Pokes on a college football podcast:

“At our best, I think we’re gonna be a problem for anybody on our schedule,” Morris said. “If we can stay committed to the process and take this thing one week at a time, I think we can win the rest of them on our schedule. “On the flip side of that, at our worst this year, it was pretty bad. So, yeah, I like way our schedule sets up. Obviously, I like our bye week being this week. We were a little bit banged up, but I definitely think there’s a chance we can run this thing if we can stay committed to the process and play our brand of football.” [PFB]

• Cowgirl Golf won The Ally tournament in Mississippi, taking home an individual title to boot (OKState.com)

• Eric Morris played off any controversy around his boss (Chad Weiberg) at his weekly press conference (PFB)

• This feels like one of those times when taking a couple of weeks off is reasonable – best wishes to the former Cowboy.

• Couple of big time Pokes on this injury report.

Non-OSU Bullets

• Check out this fall foliage map to see when the leaves should turn • How much money is God not concerned about? (faith-based)
