Watch: Mike Gundy Makes Late Night Appearance on ESPN With Scott Van Pelt
Following Oklahoma State’s 30-21 win over Virginia Tech on Thursday evening in the Camping World Bowl, Mike Gundy made an appearance on ESPN with Scott Van Pelt to break down the game, talk about his mullet, Rudolph’s NFL prospects and more.
“This has been a special group,” said Gundy. “They’ve won a lot of football games and won 10 games three years in a row, they’re great young men, enjoyable to coach, very humble, we wanted to win really bad …. our guys found a way to make a couple plays in the end.”
Gundy also raved about what Mason Rudolph has meant to Oklahoma State over the last few years and spoke glowingly about a soon-to-be NFL career.
“He’s out of here now as the most decorated quarterback in the history of this school. He’s been tremendous on and off the field. He’s been so loyal. He’s played with a broken foot, played with broken ribs, he never wants to come out … He’s going to play a long time in the NFL. The guy’s got everything it takes to be there for a long time.”
