WHOOPS: Paul Finebaum Mistakenly Picks OU (?) to Beat Boise State, not OSU
Finebaum likes OU over Boise. But OU doesn’t play Boise — OSU does.
Paul Finebaum is picking the Sooners on Saturday.
Which is great. Only problem is, he’s picking them to take down Boise State. He didn’t realize — like, at all — that it’s Oklahoma State that’s facing Boise.
“I have Oklahoma!” said Finebaum confidently. “And by the way, give them credit, they’re playing a pretty good schedule. Boise is one of the best of that group … I like everything about this Oklahoma team. I’m worried about them losing Rodney Anderson, but Kyler Murray, is he in the Heisman race already?”
Oh man @finebaum just went in to detail on how Oklahoma is going to beat Boise today. Problem is Oklahoma St (not Oklahoma) plays Boise today #drinkmorecoffee pic.twitter.com/nTaSSqK39f

Shout out to the ESPN anchor who immediately executed an about-face after realizing what Finebaum did.
The Sooners, for their part, play at 11 a.m. Saturday against Iowa State. OSU kicks at 2:30 in Stillwater against Boise.
