Wide Receiver Obi Obialo to Transfer from Oklahoma State

Sophomore receiver Obi Obialo announced he would transfer from Oklahoma State on Thursday via Twitter.

Obialo played in only four games as a freshman, burning his redshirt. He totaled two catches for 11 yards, with 10 of them coming on one snag against Kansas. Reps could be even harder to come by in 2017 as Oklahoma State boasts one of the deepest and most talent-rich receiving corps in the nation.

He was a former three-star prospect out of Coppell High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. At Coppell, he compiled almost 1,000 receiving yards.

Obialo was also recruited by Iowa and San Diego State, according to 24/7 Sports.
