Zach Dawson, Davon Dillard Reportedly Suspended for Team Rules Violations
Davon Dillard and Zach Dawson have both been suspended indefinitely for failure to meet team standards, according to the Tulsa World’s Mark Cooper.
Dillard, a junior, had missed most of the preseason dealing with an injury he has now been cleared for. Dawson, a freshman, is expected to play a role off the ball as OSU looks for contributions on the offensive side of the ball.

The good news, if there is any, is that the suspensions appear unrelated to the FBI’s probe — meaning this isn’t related to any eligibility concerns
This does not appear to be an eligibility issue. More of a team discipline issue.

The suspension of Dillard and Dawson leaves new coach Mike Boynton with a short bench for Friday’s season-opener against Pepperdine. Only nine scholarship players will be available to him, however Cooper reports sophomore sharpshooter Thomas Dziagwa, who missed last Friday’s game against Arkansas-Monticello, will suit up and play.
