2018 Power Forward Maurice Calloo Sets Official Visit to Oklahoma State
More frontcourt help could be on its way as early as next week for Oklahoma State.
According to Corey Evans of Rivals.com, 2018 power forward Maurice Calloo, a three-star prospect from Huntington Prep, has set up an official visit to OSU for next weekend, and a commitment “may not be far off.”
The Cowboys offered Calloo a scholarship on Monday.
Oklahoma State will host a top available forward prospect next weekend for an official visit as a commitment may not be far off @OKStateRivals https://t.co/Fxnk3giHnh…

Calloo visited St. John’s last weekend, will visit Ole Miss this coming weekend, and now has an OSU trip on deck for one of his five allowed officials. It’s big news for the Cowboys, who are battling against Brad Underwood and Illinois, the current crystal ball favorite to land him.
At 6-foot-8, 210-pounds, Calloo could bring size, strength and mobility to the interior of the Oklahoma State roster that would complement the current pieces nicely. With 6-9 power forward Yor Anei and 6-10 center Kentrevious Jones slated to be freshmen in 2018, Calloo could be a nice late grab to compete for big minutes right away with a versatile offensive game that should translate nicely to the next level.
