3-star Texas Pass-Rusher Tyree Wilson Names OSU in Top 6
One week after de-committing from Washington State, three-star outside linebacker/defensive end Tyree Wilson reset his recruitment over the weekend with a fresh list of schools he’s focusing on.
OSU, Texas A&M, TCU, SMU, Mississippi State and Houston are in his newly named top six.
The 6-foot-5 prospect from West Rusk, Texas, committed to Wazzu early in the process but has found renewed interest on the recruiting trail. Since April, Memphis, Texas State, Tulane, Memphis, Tulsa, Houston, New Mexico, Mississippi State, TCU and Texas A&M have extended offers to the rising pass-rusher who OSU is recruiting as a defensive end.
Wilson earned first team all-district honors as a junior at outside linebacker last season where he recorded 74 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, an interception, and two forced fumbles.
OSU already has one commitment at defensive end in the Class of 2018 in Sachse’s Tyler Lacy.
