Former Arkansas Pledge Tanner McCalister Commits to Oklahoma State
Following a successful official visit weekend in Stillwater, three-star cornerback Tanner McCalister has committed to Oklahoma State and shut down his recruitment ahead of Wednesday’s early signing period.
McCalister is a former Arkansas pledge from Rockwall-Heath who picked the Pokes over 16 offers, the likes of which included Indiana, Illinois, Virginia, Missouri, TCU, Mississippi State and others.
McCalister’s pledge gives OSU a commitment from one of two previously uncommitted official visitors this weekend, the other being four-star RB Lyn-J Dixon, who is set to make his decision on Tuesday evening.
With McCalister in the fold, OSU now has a dynamic cornerback tandem incoming for 2018 with he and Cibolo’s JayVeon Cardwell. Coppell’s Gabe Lemons will also play corner at OSU after a two-way high school career.
OSU now has 21 commitments in its 2018 class and may not be done adding players ahead of the early signing period on Wednesday.
