OSU Awaits Decision Following Isaac Likekele Official Visit
2018 point guard Isaac Likekele was an official visitor on Oklahoma State’s campus this past weekend. Now, with all his officials taken, he stares down a decision that will likely have implications in the Big 12 beginning in 2018.
The three-star prospect is choosing between UTEP, Texas Tech and OSU, however many believe it’s the Red Raiders or the Pokes most likely to snag his signature after decommitting from Fresno State.
“Oklahoma State was another really good visit, I really enjoyed the location and how everything close is a plus,” Likekele told TheTB5Reports. “What I like about Coach Boynton (Oklahoma State Head Coach Mike Boynton) is he’s the same type of guy I am, he was doubted by everyone when he got the job, had a great year and proved them wrong. That’s basically the same mindset I’m taking to college with me.”
Likekele told PFB that he enjoyed his visit but hasn’t set a commitment date — at least not publicly. But his decision is expected sooner rather than later, with the spring signing period entering its dog days in the final 10 days.

If Likekele picks Texas Tech, as many expect, OSU will likely carry only two true point guards on the 2018 roster in Michael Weathers and graduate transfer Mike Cunningham after recently missing on four-star prospect Courtney Ramey, who signed with Texas.
