2019 Four-Star Forward Jalen Wilson Names OSU In Final Six Schools
2019 small forward Jalen Wilson, the third-ranked prospect from Texas and a consensus top-40 talent, named Oklahoma State among his final six schools on Monday in addition to Baylor, Marquette, Kansas, Michigan and UCLA.
Wilson is a 6-foot-8 recruit from Denton Guyer who, somewhat surprisingly, eliminated the University of Oklahoma in his final cut despite making multiple visits to Norman. Wilson is the teammate of current OU commit De’Vion Harmon, a 2019 four-star point guard prospect.
Oklahoma State already holds a commitment from a small forward in the 2019 class in Tulsa Memorial standout Keylan Boone, but Wilson is a no-brainer take should he choose to commit. OSU could stagger Boone with Wilson or potentially play them both in a small-ball lineup.
Oklahoma State is also still in pursuit of Jaelyn Withers, Greg Gantt, Ishan White and Marcus Watson, among others, as 2019 small forward prospects who have been offered by Mike Boynton’s coaching staff.
