Big Board: Oklahoma State’s Top 2019 Targets at Safety
Five-star in-state safety Daxton Hill is the headline target for OSU not only at safety for 2019, but overall in 2019. The top-40 ranked Booker T. Washington star has every option in the world available to him, but OSU wants him to follow in his brother’s footsteps and join the Cowboys.
Whether he does so or not, there are still a number of other targets for OSU at the position in 2019. But the target list, truthfully, starts with Hill, then everyone else.
QB | RBÂ |Â CBÂ |Â OLÂ |Â DEÂ | DT | LB | WR
Read into it however you wish, but Oklahoma continues to surge in Hill’s 247Sports crystal ball. 83 percent of the 12 experts who have placed a guess on where he lands peg the Sooners as the ultimate landing spot, including all eight of the most recent guesses.

Brentwood’s own Sione Vaki, a listed receiver, is another safety target for the Pokes in 2019. Vaki has seven offers, including OSU, Boston College, Tennessee, Nevada and others.
2019 product Anfernee Orji was on our big board for linebacker, but he makes an appearance here on the safety big board too because of his versatility as an athlete. He could realistically play either position at the next level, and at 6-1, 200, he’s got mobility and speed to develop into a talented player in the secondary with very good size.
