Oklahoma State Second of Three-Offer Thursday for 2019 OL Jake Wiley
At 1:34 p.m. on Thursday, 2019 Eaglecrest High School (Colo.) offensive line prospect Jake Wiley announced Colorado had extended him his first Division I scholarship offer. By 2:54 p.m., Oklahoma State joined in with No. 2, and exactly an hour later, at 3:54 p.m., Washington State extended the fiesta by becoming his third offer.
“Super pumped to announce my second D1 offer to play football at Oklahoma State University in the Big 12 Conference!” Wiley tweeted. “Go Cowboys.”
Wiley was a relatively unknown recruit before Thursday, with no 247Sports profile nor a Rivals or ESPN recruiting page belonging to him. But that likely won’t last long.
The 6-foot-6, 260-pound offensive lineman has been discovered in a big way, and if his recruitment continues at its rapid pace, he’ll have, roughly, one billion (?) or so offers by December’s signing day, if my math checks out correctly.
Wiley is just the latest Colorado-area recruit to be targeted by OSU offensive line coach Josh Henson in the 2019 cycle. The Cowboys have also offered 2019 Colorado area tackles Barrett Miller, Michael Lynn and Austin Johnson.
